OMGosh..... Today, I brought my whole mask home. I prepared bringing all the modelling paste and paint home. It was a big load. I got home at 8:00... So I ate dinner and showered and did some other homework and started working on my mask.
My mask is due tomorrow, but since my mask is pretty huge, Ms Hampton kindly lets me just finish the front of the mask. =] That made me soooooo relieved.
So, I started working on my mask at 9:00pm, I knew that I couldn't finish everything myself all night long, so I decided to ask mum. Mum is soooo helpful. She laid her hands in and started working on the mask with me. She gave me some ideas to use in my mask. I ask her to do all the modeling and pasting and help me carve out my patterns carefully. Whereas, I did the painting with the blends. We swapped over jobs, many time. Since modelling paste actually dries for an hour, we really had to make it quick or I won't be able to get sleep. We decided to use 3 blow dryers and dry all the modelling paint. It was actually a good idea. It dried the modelling paste with a big hot blow of 10 mins. =] (My new discovery!)
I placed modelling paste all over my mask, bit by bit. Then drying it bit by bit. I sorted out patterns to put on. And in the end, I added a beautiful eyeline using a sleek black colour and lining it on the eye of my mask. It was actually quite facsinating for what the result turned out to be. Well, I finished painting at 1:00am... (4 hrs of hard work), but I wasn't tired. I was seriously VERY GLAD!!!!!! and happy. I thanked mum!
I think I would never want to experience another mask-painting, even if it's really fun! (It's dreadful!!!!)
